Cascina Rive is a sunny and romantic stone farmhouse situated in a peaceful valley among woodland and small vineyards. The Langhe hills are well knowned for the production of Barolo wine and the castles. The structure it’s close to the small medieval village of Sinio, 20 minutes from Alba and just few minutes from the famous castles of Grinzane Cavour and Barolo . Next to the house owners is the place reserved for the guests room. Our rooms are fitted out full of color and originality: the room "Lavender", the room "Bamboo" and the flat "Bunch of grape". Guests have free wi-fi connection. The breakfast It’s served in the cosy living room and includes local and homemade products. In summer, breakfast it’s served in the garden. Maria and Maurice are both experienced travellers. Ping-pong table and games are available. We have a new spa pool in the garden. Easy hiking trails depart from the house on foot of 3 / 4 hours. Mountain bikes are available for guests.

We have a good knowledge of the Langhe and Piemont and we can suggest and organize the stay for the guests basing on preferences. We are in the "SLOW FOOD" land and we can suggest enogastronomig itineraries, good wineries, cellars, good restaurants, trattorie and osterie that we personally test. We speak english, french and little bit of deutch. Maurizio is and hiking guide and he personally have a good knowledge of paths and places. We are able to organize cooking course. Maurizio is also a passion photograper and can organize workshop in the Langhe area.
