3 Bedroom House in Milan

Palazzetto, is a characteristic house in the first hills above the Padana plain Situated between a small market town , Merate , and a village with a very pretty lake It stands above a large garden running down to a 15th century Franciscan monastery, still very much in use. A trellis of grape vines runs along the front of the house ending in a pergola under which one may eat or sit and enjoy the long summer evenings . 
 
On each of the three floors we have three double/twin bedrooms each with an internal bathroom. We offer either B&B or we a small self-contained apartment, which consists of a double/twin bedroom, bathroom with shower , fully equipped kitchen and sitting room with French windows opening out onto the garden. Here we have satellite TV (BBC and CNN) An additional bed can be supplied. 
 
We are in a strategic position as we are in easy reach of Lake Como (19 km) , Milan with Leonardo’s Last Supper (30 km), Bergamo, with its beautiful hilltop walled medieval city (25 km). Monza with its Formula 1 racing (18 km) and Switzerland (40 km) Lake Maggiore and Lake Garda can also be reached for a day trip. The station Cernusco/Merate for visiting the lakes or Milan is only 2 km from us 

We offer guided tours to places of interest nearby such as the River Adda where one may see the hydraulic projects of Leonardo da Vinci or paths in nearby parks.

Our area has a long history so it is interesting from an historical point of view. There are many Romanesque churhes, art galleries andhydraulic projects of Leonardo da Vinci. If you like we can give a guided tour.We are also in a good centre for visiting many cities such as Milan, Bergamo, Como and Monza. You may go hiking in the mountains or visit the villages of Lake Como. We are also near some nature parks.
