Situated on the 2nd penthouse floor of the building, this cosy 'Swiss chalet style' apartment enjoys vaulted natural wooden ceilings and tall French doors with far reaching views across the lake & 'The Golden Triangle' from both the lounge & master bedroom. 
 
Each of these rooms enjoy their own balcony to which you are drawn the moment you walk in. The view that beacons will not disappoint, for it is the size and scale that takes you by surprise - it is nothing less than spectacular. 
 
The apartment is very well presented and comprises of a comprehensive bespoke kitchen & dining area, leading on to the cosy living area with luxury 'Duresta' sofas, handmade in England, Italian glass coffee table, solid elm Danish furniture throughout the area plus a full entertainment system (English FreeSat HD TV & DVD). 
 
The large Master Bedroom has an equally large super-king oak bed with a handmade 'Vi-Spring' mattress (the ultimate in mattress comfort), bedside tables, drawers, wardrobe, leather chair & wall mounted Flat Screen FreeSat TV. 
 
The second bedroom is furnished with twin beds, bedside tables, drawers and a wardrobe. 
 
Sandwiched between the two bedrooms is a bathroom with generous size shower tray, wall hung sink, designer toilet & bidet, full size heated towel rail, radiator and Velux window. There is also a second cloakroom toilet next the front door. 
 
At the end of the internal corridor is a Utility room with new 1200 spin washing machine, separate tumble dryer, iron & ironing board. 
 
All the fixtures and fittings are new, modern & stylish blending with tasteful décor throughout, offering an irresistible 'homely, comfortable feel'. 
 
There is also the use of the communal swimming pool and sun loungers very close to the apartment entrance. 
 
This apartment is really truly exceptional. With its emphasis on comfort, it retains a natural, tasteful feel throughout. Combine this with the fact that sunbathing, walking, cycling, skiing are all virtually on your doorstep, it really does offer everything a holiday guest is looking for. 
 
Varenna is one of the most beautiful towns on the lake, its steep winding alleys lined with charming homes, flowering balconies and lace-curtained windows. In the evenings, the village is serene and picturesque. The perfect place for relaxing and soaking up the Italian way of life. 
 
Skiing in the area is bountiful with resorts such as Madesimo 1.15 hours to the north and the local ski resorts of Piani di Bobbio & Pien della Betulla are only 40 - 50 minutes away. And for an exciting day trip any time of year, the international jet-set resort of St. Moritz is only 1.5 hours by car.

Service Charge Our one & two weekly service charges are inclusive of final cleaning, bed linen, towels, heating, utilities & air-conditioning (if installed in the holiday property). Tea towels & beach towels are not supplied. If your booking is for more than one week, clean linen & towels will be provided on a weekly basis. Short Breaks 3 night break - 40% off weekly tariff / 4 night break - 30% off weekly tariff / 5 night break - 20% off weekly tariff / 6 night break - 10% off weekly tariff Payments by Credit/Debit Card & Wire Transfer There are no additional charges for credit or debit card payments. However, all bank transfer fees are the responsibility of the sender. To make a confirmed booking, you will be asked to fill in our booking form online and pay a 30% deposit. The remaining balance will then be due 6 weeks before arrival.
