Two cosy traditional style houses set within a natural reserve, positioned next to each other on the mountainside with spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and Lake Como.
The access is through a gated barrier & up a long winding track- far away from the commercial hum drum of the lake.
The larger of the 2 houses (Bella Una) sleeps up to 6 people in 3 bedrooms. There is a reverse level open plan living room/kitchen dining area with wood burning stove, an entertainment system(Sat TV with DVD/CD cinema surround sound) - this room takes full advantage of the lake views. On the ground floor there are 3 bedrooms. 2 doubles, a third with bunk bed and a bathroom with shower. To the rear off the living area is a covered terrace, ideal for alfresco dining with access to the large garden and swimming pool.
The smaller house sleeps up to 4 people with reverse level open plan living room/kitchen and dining area with a unique stone fireplace. The room takes full advantage of the lake views and has Sat TV with DVD player. On the ground floor there is a master bedroom, a second twin bedroom and a bathroom with shower.
The large garden has a swimming pool 5.0m x 7.5m with deck. & a main grassed area.

    • The larger house provides for the dishwasher & washing machine. Both houses have a gas hob & electric oven. The swimming pool is shared between both houses & set within the garden.

    • The properties are set within a gated natural reserve which is ideal for walkers. Vehicle access is best suited for experienced drivers as there is no street lighting & the track is unmade for the last 300metres.
    It is adcvisable to plan your arrival during daylight hours so that you are able to familiarise yourself with the road access.
    Many of the activities can be booked through Happy Holiday Homes who manage the property & are located in nearby Menaggio.

We will guide you to them after your initial enquiry through to the booking stage whereby all the deposit requirements & cancellation details will be expressed.

    Our own Heaven on Earth

    We purchased these two houses 2 years ago & early 2008 carried out renovation works & installation of the swimming pool. The feedback from guests suggests they absolutely love the peace & tranquility the location provides.
    We have usually holiday as a family with close friends & these houses provide for shared facilities- pool/ garden/BBQ etc , but provides for your own space with seperate living space should you need.
    The position is clearly rustic , set in a woodland (chestnut,birch etc) with a stunning view overlloing the centre of the lake- Belaggio & beyond.
    The location to us is a real plus as it is away from the commercial area but some 15 minutes from Menaggio. The local village of Plesio has a good store for basic essentials.
