A unique opportunity to stay in one of the most desirable lakeside properties on Lake Como, dating back to the early 1900’s and available for rent for the first time for summer 2009. This stunning lakeside villa has been built to the highest standards, right on the lakeside within walking distance (5 minutes) of the fishing village of Argegno, and aproximately 15 minutes by car from Como. Argegno is one of the main stopping off points for all lake ferries and hydrofoils as well as the bus service to/from Como and Menaggio, making it an ideal location from which to discover the rest of the lake.
The architect designed villa is right on the lake’s edge and has its own boat house and lake access. There are mature gardens all around the villa and it has its own private driveway, gated entrance and private parking for several cars, as well as a garage.
The internal accommodation is spacious and was renovated in the 80’s, hence some of the decor is slightly dated, but it has been designed with great care and using the best possible materials.

The accommodation is laid out on 2 floors, with all the ground floor rooms opening up onto a covered portico overlooking the lake.

Enormous lounge/dining area with huge open fireplace and patio doors on 3 sides.

Master suite with double bed, patio doors to the garden/lake and en suite with bath and walk in shower.

First floor
Main wing:
Large bedroom with double bed and double sofa bed, leading through to office area where 2 extra beds could be added (on request) and onto a bathroom with shower.
Second wing:
A separate corridor then leads to another sleeping area with 2 further bedrooms, 1 with twin beds and 1 with a single and a double bed. There is a washroom with wc for these 2 bedrooms, but they would need to use the bathroom in the other wing for showering.
