This vacation apartment is close to Milan. With breathtaking views of the Lake Maggiore and Alpine Mountains, you'll enjoy an unforgettable experience. Looking south and west down the Lake, you have the sun through the day from breakfast until dinner - when you can enjoy the most beautiful sunsets in perfect solitude. The apartment has its own entrance, a sunlit terrace surfaced with marble and wood decking and a private spa pool/hot tub equipped with a jacuzzi - great fun for young and old alike. Easy to reach from Milan and Lugano Airports and from the expressways into Italy from Switzerland and France.
Luino is famous on Wednesdays - it has one of the biggest street markets in Italy. There is a lakeside ferry service to many beautiful towns and villages on Lake Maggiore, such as Stresa and Cannobio. This "Navagazione Lago Maggiore" will be a highlight of your trip.
One of the most scenic parts of Italy is the Borromean Islands - Isola Bella and its near neighbours. Not just a fantastic fairy-tale palace, but beautiful gardens with their own family of white peacocks. You'll want to take tea
About one third of the Lake is in Switzerland - don't miss the 'Hundred Valley Tour' by boat from Luino - that includes a train ride into the Swiss Alps and back by boat into Italy, a lovely trip.

There are beaches on Lake Maggiore only 5-10mins by car. It is lovely to swim and fish in the summer - hardy souls enjoy dipping in the Lake all through the year. Pebbly beaches require you to bring jelly shoes. The Lake teems with fish - there are fishing nets kept at the apartment. Bring your windsurfer or hire one in Luino in the season - it's a perfect lake for sport.
Milan Malpensa Airport is the nearest airport, about 75mins away. EasyJet & Flybe are the low-cost airlines there, plus BA, Alitalia and many others. An inexpensive train service takes you to Milan 60 to 90min. Italy enjoys low cost, and fast, trains and buses. Milan is famous for shopping. A short train ride or taxi brings you to the monastery of Santa Maria delle Grazie and Leonardo da Vinci's world-famous 'Last Supper'. Book your tickets in advance (please contact for website address) to spend 15 mins of quiet contemplation with this amazing painting. Treat yourself to the people's opera at La Scala, Milan.

This superb apartment includes a spa pool with jacuzzi and a large terrace equipped with two dining tables and many chairs for outdoor living all day long. A big sun parasol allows you to shade the pool or the large dining table. One guest remarked that "you spend two days just looking at the view".
The spacious living room features two beautiful red sofas (see photo), one that converts into a comfortable bed for extra guests, plus soft lights, television & DVD player.
The dining space features a Danish dining room suite with an extendable table seating from 4 to 8 people plus a baby chair, if required. There's an art-deco cocktail cabinet - help yourself to drinks and replace, as required, for the next guests to enjoy.
Towels and linen fully included. The apartment prepared for you by our ladies Maria and Erika. Final cleaning and laundry charge of Euro 150 deducted from the damage deposit of Euro 300. Daily maid service available.

Rates

Low Season Price : $800
High Season Price : $2200 per Week

Pay a deposit of USD500 and the remainder 6 weeks before arrival. The deposit is non-returnable so you should hold travel insurance with cancellation cover. Pay by bank transfer or send a cheque/bankers draft in any trade currency.
