The penthouse can accommodate up to 6 people and is made of one bedroom with a king size bed, one chill-out panoramic veranda with one double sofa bed, one fully equipped kitchen, one dining room with one double sofa bed, one bathroom and one large terrace with a superb view. Penthouse Monteverde is well served with public transport and nearby amenities. The apartment is located on the top floor and this gives the property a unique view. It is a friendly family run business English is spoken fluently.

Situated on the 5th floor of a stylish building (PLEASE NOTE LIFT UNAVAILABLE! But the stairs are not that bad) this welcoming apartment will immediately take you into the typical atmosphere of a beautiful and relaxing holiday. Ideally situated to discover the magic of Rome and its monuments, the apartment, offers a refreshing and stunning panoramic view. This apartment is perfectly suited for a family holiday or for couples looking for romance. In the Spring and Summer days you can sunbed or relax on the spacious terrace and later, at sunset, enjoy an unforgettable romantic dinner with your partner. Alternatively, you can admire a breathtaking view of Rome from Gianicolo (just few minutes away) or take a walk in the nearby Villa Sciarra or Villa Doria Pamphili parks. Villa Sciarra is a small park which is replete with fountains, gazebos, ponds, loggias and statuary. There are leafy lanes for walking and lawns for relaxing. It’s a good place for children, too. Villa Doria Pamphili is the largest public landscaped park of Rome. Among its many beauties and more obvious pleasures, the Villa is one of the best sites for bird-watching and for jogging in the city.
Within walking distance you find exquisite and trendy restaurants such as Momo and Rosso and Vino.

- Travel Info: Directions From Nearest Airport: Fiumicino Airport, 20 Km Take the train with the destination Orte or Fara Sabina. Get off at TRASTEVERE STATION. Go towards the stop (it is opposite a big white church) for tram 8 direction "Casaletto". Get off after 3 stops (it is called "Ravizza" stop). Go to the traffic light and cross the road to the right (there is a restaurant-pizzeria in front of you) and then to the left (you can see a small petrol station ahead of you) then turn right after a Chinese restaurant and you are on Via Camillo de Lellis. Directions From Nearest Train Station: Termini Station, 7,5 Km Take Bus "H". Get off soon after the bus crosses the river Tiber. Take tram n. 8 direction "Casaletto". Count 9 stop and get off at Ravizza stop, after San Camillo Hospital stop. Then go to the traffic light and cross the road to the right (there is a restaurant) and then to the left (you can see a small petrol station, in the opposite direction from where you cam from) then turn right after a Chinese restaurant and you are on Via Camillo de Lellis. Directions From Nearest City: Florence, 290 Km Take A1/E35 towards Rome.Pass the Rome pay toll barrier.Head to A12 Civitavecchia.Take exit Aurelio.Take exit:Uscita 1 Aurelio.Take SS1.Turn right:Via Aurelia to:Stazione Aurelia.Turn right: Largo Tommaso Perassi.Take Via Aurelia Antica.Take:Piazza di Villa Carpegna.Turn left:Via Gregorio VII. Turn right:Via Leone XIII.Turn right:Piazzetta del Bel Respiro.Take Via Ottavio Gasparri.Turn left:Circ. Gianicolense.Head to Piazza San Giovanni di Dio.About 600 mt turn right to Via Camillo De Lellis.

Penthouse apartment Monteverde is in a great spot for exploring Rome with tram and bus to central Rome at the end of the street. Owner is easy to liaise with and apartment is very clean. Lots of stairs but worth it for the view and owner assisted with bags on arrival and departure. Everything you need for self catering including wifi.

Great location - easy to find and very easy to the city centre, rail station and all the sights. Apartment was clean and comfortable - all you want. Shops, market and places to eat all near. Take the tram to Trastevere for nights out. Great time altogether.

My husband and I stayed in the apartment for 5 days in June 2011. The apartment is absolutely great, just wish there was a lift, as there are 110 steps to climp up to the 5th floor. So not so good for the unfit. The location is perfect, very quiet and all the sights in central Rome are easy to reach with the tram, which is just a 5 minute walk away. Should we visit Rome again we will definitely stay in this apartment.

As we had 4 nights to spare and this was our second visit to Rome, I thought an apartment would be better value and more comfortable than a hotel. Andrea was a pleasure to deal with and the whole booking procedure was very painless. He booked a private transfer for us from the airport to the apartment and I would really recommend this service, although he does provide full details as to how to reach the apartment by public transport. The apartment is up a lot of stairs, but the advantage of this is a great view from the terrace. It is clean, spacious and well equipped and there are lots of little shops and restaurants locally (you can eat very cheaply out of town). It was nice to be in a residential neighbourhood away from all the tour groups. Rome is absolutely wonderful - vibrant, chaotic, beguiling and delightful. The no 8 tram is a great line that takes you within reach of all the sights, and the narrow, winding streets of Trastavere are just a short hop from the apartment for a spot of dinner and people watching. I can whole-heartedly recommend both the apartment and this lovely city.

This was a wonderful apartment and I loved my stay there. It was in a lovely peaceful area with a wonderful food market nearby and only a short tram ride away from the centre, so easy to get to all the sights. The apartment itself was roomy, and comfortable, amazing sunsets and sunrises, fantastic to come back to after a full day of sight seeing! Andreas was very helpful , his father kindly carried all my luggage up and down stairs when I arrived and when I left.Will definitely be going there again.

We were met by andrea's father who was very helpful. Later that evening andrea phoned to check we were fine and to offer any help we might need. We were very comfortable and the appartment was very well equipted, even down to the umbrellas outide the appartment for our use. It poured the whole time, but even so we had a perfect time. The tram was very handy, taking us to the centre where we could walk or pick up other transport. We would definately return to penthouse Monteverde again and would highly reccommend it to friends.

Hi Andrea, home away from home you have thought of every thing. Even though we only stayed 2 nights the three of us enjoyed the neighbour hood for the best gelati and food. It was nice to have some extra space and the views from the balcony, I got some nice photos of the view over Rome. We will be recommending your Penthouse to our friends.

Once again thanks so much for letting us stay in your apartment. It was perfectly suited to our needs as a family. All the conveniences of home were available and some thoughtful extras as well. Being a winter holiday we really appreciated the heating but the wonderful balcony with the views across the city was still a fun space to enjoy. It would be a fantastic spot in summer, especially in the evenings! Most of all the convenience of the location is what we appreciated. There are all of the benefits of being in a local neighbourhood - shops, restaurants and a great morning market for all the wonderful produce at great prices and just about anything else that you may need (including emergency clothing and toiletries!). This together with the very efficient public transport available just around the corner. The frequent trams could take us almost anywhere with minimal hassle. This was all topped off by a very friendly and generous host. You went above and beyond the call of duty in assisting us, particularly when language barriers were proving a problem in tracing our lost luggage. We would have no hesitation in recommending your apartment to anyone travelling to Rome.

Perfect!
Penthouse Monteverde ist perfekt für einen Urlaub in Rom.
Es befindet sich in einer ruhigen Wohngegend mit herrlicher Aussicht.Es ist sehr sauber,hell und warm.Alles was man braucht ist vorhanden,wir haben nichts vermisst.Mit der Tram 8,nur 2 Minuten entfernt,ist man in 10 Minuten in der Stadt.Kleine Geschäfte sind in der Straße,ein großer Supermarkt bei der nächsten Tramhaltestelle.Dort ist man auch gleich beim großen Park Villa Doria Pamphili .Die Wohnung ist im 5.Stock,die Treppen sind leicht zu begehen und angekommen,kann man die herrliche Aussicht genießen.
Der Vermieter Andrea und seine Eltern sind sehr nett,die Buchung war unkompliziert und Andrea hatte alle wichtigen Info's beigefügt.Er ist über Telefon immer zu erreichen.
Es war unser 4.Urlaub in Rom und mit Abstand die beste Unterkunft.Sollten wir wieder einmal Rom besuchen,so ist Penthouse-Monteverde unsere erste Wahl.

This was a very nice fifth floor penthouse apartment. The location was wonderful, only a block from the tram and bus stops and about 10 minutes from the center of Rome. The owner of the apartment was very kind and also helpful with supplying useful tips about the area. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone traveling to the Rome area. Hopefully we will be able to return again one day!!

Extremely comfortable and spacious for two people. Delightful rooftop sitting room. Other rooms spacious and very agreeable. The nearby "real" market is excellent, and there are also a number of convenient supermarkets. Tram 8 into Rome quick and easy. Bus H for town and Termini also quick and easy. Well equipped kitchen, even with egg cups (though no teapot!). Excellent holiday.

Hi, my name is Andrea. I was born in Rome in March 1968 and I moved to London when I was 19. There I became a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales where I practiced until 2006, the year I returned to sunny Rome. In 2007 I purchased this lovely property which I now rent as a holiday home. I bought my property in this location because is one of the little sanctuary you find in Rome. It reminds me of the quiet, nice and clean neighborhoods you have in London (it is called "the small villas"), yet you are in Rome and only 15 minutes away from the vibrant, beautiful and sometimes noisy centre of Rome. Also being a penthouse apartment you can enjoy and excellent view of the City and its ventilated terrace offers a perfect oasis to escape from the heat during the hottest months. My property is located in a strategic position. Very close to public transport and local amenities. The terrace is surely a plus and its vicinity with the historical sites allows the minded traveller to rent a property at a very competitive rate without having to renounce to comfort and style.
