Vacation Rental Description
Exclusive, 230 square meters villa (30 minutes from Rome) with breathtaking lake and countryside views, a charming private swimming pool with marble border, and a 2500 square meters park, bulging with colourful flowers, and mature olive and fruit trees. The villa is situated on a hilltop in a commanding position, at only 800 meters from the long, sunny lake beaches. Two lovely Golf clubs are available in the area (Sutri and Olgiata). The Mediterranean seashore is at only 20 minutes drive.The stunning views onto Lake Bracciano and onto the deep green Roman countryside, and the gentle round-top hills that embrace the lake, are enjoyed from every corner of the property, and come into the villa through its huge glass windows like live paintings. Garden tables, chairs and sun beds are scattered in the garden, on the 70 square meters marble-paved solarium by the pool and in the 60 square meters shady, covered patio. The outdoor BBQ area is also paved with marble, and the brick barbecue is there to grill fragrant steaks while slowly sipping an excellent glass of Italian wine. The whole property has been conceived and realized to be the perfect place for relaxation, well-being and for a totally out of common vacation. The extensive private park (2500 square meters) has large lawns, and is an explosion of multicoloured flowers, fruit and olive trees.
Villa Il Glicine is located in an extremely privileged geographical position, in the very heart of the Protected Natural Park of Lake Bracciano, at the cross roads between Lazio, Tuscany and Umbria, which hold 60% of the country’s total historical, artistic and archaeological heritage. While quiet and private, the villa is located very close to where cultural and sporting activities are. Furthermore, all sorts of shops and supermarkets are available at a 3 minutes drive from the property.
Last but not least, Il Glicine is finely and lovingly furnished with a mix of luxurious modern furniture and some antique pieces, and Persian carpets and kilims are scattered on the floor everywhere inside the villa.
The wonderful beauty nature has bestowed on this blessed corner of natural paradise, immediately stirs the desire to relax, explore, discover and enjoy, and you are instantly pervaded by the feeling that your memorable vacation has just started.
Rate includes:1 set of bed linen per bed per week - 2 normal size towels per person per week - Water consumption - cooking gas consumption - Initial cleaning of the villa before Guest’s arrival - cleaning and sanitation of the swimming pool before arrival day - maintenance of the park prior to guests' arrival - All taxes included.
Rates do not include:Prices apply to groups of up to ten persons - Each additional person pays an extra 8% of weekly rates – Electric energy is metered and consumption is payable upon departure according to the figure registered by the meter - A dedicated boiler, alimented by gas, produces hot water. Gas consumed for hot water production is payable upon departure according to the figure registered by the gas meter
The following costs are to be paid upon arrival: Final Cleaning of the Villa, the pool and the Park: Euro 250 - For groups staying more than one week, a light 4 hours mid stay cleaning is mandatory and costs Euro 60, payable upon arrival – A refundable breakage deposit of Euro 800 is to be deposited with the Owner upon arrival to cover possible damages to the property, and will be returned to Guests by bank transfer two days after check-out

Beside above amenities, the villa offers: Unparallelled lake views, 2500 square meters mature park-2 open fire places-1 separate ensuite toilet- hair dryer- table fans- iron and board- wash line-70 square meters sundeck with sunbeds-60 square meters patio furnished with garden tables and chairs for open air meals- brick BBQ-Ping Pong table- The area offers innumerable sporting activities: swimming in the pool and lake, horse riding, tennis, saling, fishing, wind surf, canoeing, scuba diving, 2 Golf courses,etc..- It also offers a lot to see and do, and is surrounded by numerous medieval villages offering churches, palaces, museums and archaeological sites, as well as natural hot thermal water springs with beauty and therapeutic benefits. Rome and the Vatican City are at only 30 minutes. In summer, many events take place: Jazz festival, Gastronomic feasts, wine tasting feasts, open air concerts, fireworks on the lake and much much more.

Cancellation Policies for top season(June through September): Should cancellation take place, the following penalties apply: 90 or more days before arrival: 40% penalty 57 to 89 days before arrival: 60% penalty For cancellation notified 56 days or less before arrival: No refund shall be made Cancellation policies for rest of the year(Oct/May): 90 or more days before arrival: 25% penalty 40 to 89 days before arrival: 35% penalty 28 to 39 days before arrival: 50% penalty 27 or less days before arrival: No refund will be made Insurance against cancellation: We kindly recommend Guests take up an insurance policy against cancellation (very low cost), just limited to cover the period of their vacation and should contact an Insurance Company to get a quote ( very low cost).
