Vacation Rental Description
The apartment is situated in a large villa five minutes from the centre of Trevignano Romano and all services, and a few minutes from the beautiful Lake Bracciano. Trevignano is 45 kilomtres north west of Rome and is well connected either by bus or train. It is in the heart of the so-called "Tuscia" area and there are many places of interest connected to the Etruscans to visit. It lies at the foot of beautiful woods and there are many lovely walks to be had. Trevignano is one of three towns on the lake. There is a medieval centre dominated by the ruins of the castle. There are beaches with umbrellas and deck chairs in summer on the lakeside and also many restaurants and coffee bars overlooking the lake. In summer a boat goes round the lake allowing people to get off to visit any of the three towns The apartment itself is very spacious (120 square metres) and comfortably furnished with a terrace overlooking the garden for eating out in summer. There is a large lounge with a dining area and a fully equipped kitchen. A double sofa bed in the lounge sleeps two people. Private parking is provided. A car is recommended for visiting the surrounding area and for going to the coast which is about 40 kilometres away. There are also thermal spas in the area.
