Villa Paolillo is surrounded by lemon groves and olive trees and is set in a peaceful location overlooking the stunning coast of Amalfi. The villa is located just a 10 minute drive up above Amalfi in the village of 'Pogerola'.
The villa can be found just below the parking area (down 140 steps) so a level of fitness is reccomended!
There is a lovely terrace which overlooks the lemon groves and crystal blue sea which is perfect location for alfresco dining.
The villa compromises of two large bedrooms, a double and a twin. The lounge has a sofa bed for one. The lounge is extreemly spacious as is the dining area and kitchen. There is a modern fully equiped kitchen and a bathroom.
There are numerous lovely walks around the villa, including the walk down into Amalfi and its beaches, this walk takes approx 15 mins. There is a walk up to the village Piazza where there are a small selection of shops, restaurants, a post office and green grocer. There are regular buses that run from the Piazza down into Amalfi, and from Amalfi there are numerous buses and boats to places such as Positano, Sorrento, Island of Capri, etc. There are also regular buses to Ravello, Naples and Salerno. The villa is in a perfect central location to explore all of the coast. Other places of interest include, Mount Versuvius, the ancient city of Pompeii and herculaneum as well as the temples at Paestum.
All in all the villa is a popular choice with many people who love the tranquility of its setting and its position.
