Vacation Rental Description
This well appointed villa is on a small development of four houses, sleeps up to 8 and is located on a hillside just outside the village of Zambrone in Calabria, only 40 minutes away from the airport of Lamezia, with direct flights from the UK. The terraces provide uninterrupted views of the Mediterranean with spectacular sunsets over the island of Stromboli. Air conditioning, central heating and an open fire are provided to ensure your stay is comfortable. The private garden is landscaped and a dedicated BBQ area allows you to take full advantage of the long summer evenings. The area is renowned for its white sandy beaches, hot summers and temperate winters. There are two National Parks within easy reach and the villa is in an ideal location as a base to travel within Calabria, to the Aeolian Islands and to Sicily, which can be reached in an hour and a half
Close by within a 10 minute drive can be found the ancient town of Tropea, without doubt the prettiest town on Calabria’s Tyrrhenian coast. Here you will find a tremendous variety of restaurants, bars and cafes ranging from simplicity to sophistication.
Villa Jenna is our home from home and was chosen so that we and others can enjoy the unspoilt, undiscovered area of Italy, where the food and the people are both warm and unforgettable.
Villa Jenna is child-friendly and features a spacious living room, dining room, fully equipped kitchen and utility room, with three bedrooms and three bathrooms over two floors. The villa terraces, on both floors, are off the dining room, living room and two of the bedroom and have stunning beach and sea views.

Upper Floor
The upper floor is the hub of the villa, with a large kitchen /diner with air conditioning, central heating and access through patio doors to a large balcony/terrace ideal for watching the sun set with a glass of wine in hand.

Well appointed with gas hob and extractor hood, oven, fridge/freezer microwave, coffee machine, blender, toaster, kettle, saucepans, serving dishes, and much more....
Dining room
Meals can be taken both inside and out as there are two tables, both seating eight, around which you can enjoy meals from the kitchen, the barbecue or even meals delivered by the local pizzeria..
Bedroom 1
With king size bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, chest of drawers, dresser + mirror, two bedside cabinets, air conditioning, radiator, patio doors to the terrace and views over the Tyrrhenian sea.
Bedroom 2
With twin beds, which can be pushed together to form a large double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, dresser + mirror, two bedside cabinets, air conditioning, radiator and a window overlooking the garden.
Bathrooms 1
Fully tiled and situated adjacent to Bedroom 1 with shower cubicle, vanity unit, WC, bidet and heated towel rail.
Bathroom 2
Fully tiled and en-suite to Bedroom 2 with shower cubicle, vanity unit, WC and heated towel rail.

Living Area
The living room, comfortably furnished with a three-seater settee, two-seater setee and three-seater sofa bed, TV, DVD player, CD/radio, air conditioning, radiator and open fire. A large selection of books, DVD’s and games are available for use during your stay. Patio doors take you through to the lower terrace overlooking the garden, olive groves and beach.

With king size bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, dresser + mirror, two bedside cabinets, air conditioning and radiator with patio doors to a large balcony/terrace with views over the Tyrrhenian sea.

Fully tiled and situated adjacent to Bedroom 1 with full size bath shower, vanity unit WC and heated towel rail
Facilities
The villa is located in it's own grounds, with ample areas for dining, sun bathing and relaxing. (Including an outside shopwer) A purpose built barbeque is available, together with outside dining facilities on the terrace for eight. Inside the living area is divided between the kitchen/dining area and the spacious sitting room. The kitchen is fully equipped, with all items necessary to enable you to cook and partake in a sumptious meal in the comfort of the dining room or indulge in a take-away Pizza from the local restaurant on the terrace overlooking the beach of Zambrone. Many facilities have been installed to make your stay as comfortable as possible, from air conditioning to quality beds and even a 2,000 litre fresh water reserve tank to ensure continuity of supply during the summer months when supplies can be erratic.
Activities
The area is renown for its pure white sandy beaches, so much so that the area was voted No 1 beach holiday location by the Sunday Times in 2007.
The nearest beach is Zambrone Marina, which is only two minutes away by car. Here you will find plenty of free parking. Beyond the promenade the long white sandy beach leads down to the blue-green ocean with rocky coves and picturesque cliffs. The beaches in this area are remarkable in that plenty of space is always available even in the peak season.
Boats, pedalos and jet skis are available for hire in the summer season. There are a number of bars and restaurants
There is a multitude of public and private beaches, all with public access and most with a family run restaurant or two where a leisurely lunch can be taken together with the locals.

Change over days are normally Saturday, with arrival after 3pm and vacation by 10am. Non returnable deposit of 30% payable on booking with balance due 8 weeks before occupation. A refundable security deposit of £250 payable with balance. For stays in excess of 10 days a change of linen is provided. A £85 final cleaning charge is payable, with options for mid stay cleans if required. Payments by either cheque or bank transfer.
