The apartment was completely renovated in January 2009 and resides in a prime location in the Marasusa holiday village, making it the perfect holiday base. The holiday village is perched on top of a hill in Paraghelia (2 minutes drive to Tropea) overlooking the old town of Tropea and it's new marina. Many regard Tropea as Italy’s best kept secret, no wonder the Sunday Times named it as its top beach holiday destination. Whilst sat on the terrace of the apartment, having a drink, witness panoramic views of Tyrrhenian Sea, the Aeolian Islands and a breathtaking sunset. The apartment offers a relaxing oasis of peace set amongst beautiful flowers and plants but you are still only just a few minutes away from the sandy beaches, restaurants, bars and bustling narrow streets of Tropea. Facilities include a beautiful shared infinity swimming pool, jacuzzi, shallow pool area for children, sun beds, showers and a fully licensed bar. Also on offer is fresh Italian coffee and snacks.

    • The holiday village offers a shared pool and jacuzzi. There is a laundry room which has several washers and dryers - there is a charge for these. Bed linen can be hired from reception at 10 euros per person, towels can also be hired-but it is probably cheaper to bring your own.

This is mainly due to the geological characteristics typical of the diving areas south of Tropea. The marina has several diving schools.•Sailing & Windsurfing - Again there are schools in Tropea with courses which include catamaran-sailing and windsurfing for beginners as well as for advanced students.•Fishing - There are numerous companies offering deep sea fishing trips. •History and Culture - Calabria is a region of ancient Mediterranean culture and it is the place from which Italy derives its name.     Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds, although euros are also happy accepted. Please contact us for shorter or longer lets. Rental charges include - cleaning, all utilities including use of air-con and full use of complex facilities. Changeover day Changeover days are flexible. The apartment should be vacated by 10am and will be ready by 4pm (unless by prior arrangement). A 30% deposit is needed to secure the booking. The balance, together with a refundable breakage deposit of £100, is due 8 weeks before occupancy.
