An area famous for its peaceful, untouched and natural wildlife, with villages full of Baroque and Romanic churches and palazzi, the region of Puglia has one of the hottest climates in Italy with temperatures 24° to 42C° March to Oct. Ostuni (7km) is steeped in history with small lime washed narrow streets, a delightful place to enjoy the hospitality of the local people who go out of their way to make you welcome. Bars, restaurants & shops open late into the evening. Live entertainment on a nearby beach in the summer evenings. Fasano (15km) boasts a golf course, a Zoo Safari Park with theme park & a Dolphin Aquarium. Why not visit Lecce (90km) the Pink City with its 2 A.D Roman Ampitheatre and various Baroque buildings, Alberobello (45km) the Trullo City or the famous spectacular limestone caves at Castellana (35km).
