The villa, situated in a residential district, far from traffic and noise, is at the same time only km 1,5 far from the wonderful resorts of Santa Caterina and Porto Selvaggio (5 sails from Legambiente), km.15 from Gallipoli, Km 22 from Lecce and km 30 from the nearest golf course. It is made up of a living room, three climatized bedrooms (8 sleeps, mosquito nets), dining kitchen, 2 bathrooms with showers, and is surrounded by a large shadowed garden (sqm 400.00), equipped with tables, chairs, sun beds, table football, 2 outside showers (one hot-cold), barbecue. As the house has 2 entrances, the living room can become a fourth independent bedroom. The furniture is complete, the kitchen is equipped in the smallest details, e.g. microwave, toaster, mixer, coffee grinder. There are also two tvcolor, a cd player, a DVD player, hairdryer, iron and iron board, washing machine. -From € 400 to € 2000/week - gas and water included - electricity after consumption- linen on call-guarantee deposit for damage from € 200, for final cleaning from € 70 - a 10% discount is applied on the weeks following the first one- discounts are applied for fewer than 8 people and an overcharge for more.

    • Near the sea resort of Santa Caterina is Porto Selvaggio, a natural reserve containing a large pine wood along the sea and a small splendid cove which can be reached only walking down through the wood or from the sea. In the same area pre-historic remains can be found, the most important are in the Uluzzo Bay, which has given the name to the Uluzzian period in The upper Paleolithic. Nardò is an ancient town very rich in churches, palaces and historical buildings of different architectural periods, especially baroque. It's also a modern town, with refined shops and boutiques, supermarkets, discounts, cinema, theatre, pharmacies, hospital, post offices, etc.) Very important are the celebrations of the "Taranta Nights”, in which ancient rites evoke the spell caused by spyder bites, during which people affected by Tarantism danced frantically under a trance. Drama and ballet are performed in the theatres in Nardò, Gallipoli and Lecce.

    • The summer is the season of festivals and concerts. Nights are warm (we have had no one day of rain in the summer 2008) which allows all activities in the open air, such as discos, restaurants, pizza houses, Karaoke. Every evening you can choose among the various offers: sagras of wine and local foods, celebrations of Saints with symphonic music, corners in town and near the sea where Pizzica (an ancient very sensual dance typical of the area) is danced by folk groups and passers-by. The coastline is an alternation of low rocks, small sand shores, peeble shores and long beaches. The sea (had the maximun environmental mark of 5 sails by Legambiente in 2007 and 2008) is low and warm near the beaches, it's blue, cristalline and deep near the rocky coast, the ideal sea for scuba diving. It is a paradise for people of all ages and all pockets, as the coast is mostly open to free bathing, though there are many bathing establishments.

    The house is booked on receiving a 40% discount No maney is refund after cancellation. payments are accepted by postal order or bank transfer. At the arrival, besides the remaining 60% of the sum due, a caution deposit is required for damages, which will be given back at the leaving if nothind is damaged or broken.
