Vacation Rental Description
This is an opportunity for nature lovers who want to spend relaxing holidays in contact with sea, forests, mountains, lakes, animals and flowers in Parco Nazionale del Gargano, Apulia, on the Adriatic coast in the south of Italy.
Apulia is famous for being the place where the sound of the sea and the wind are coupled with the unique, breathtaking panorama of Gargano promontory.
Here in the heart of Apulia you find Peschici, one of the most suggestive little villages of the coast.
In the pedestrian area of the centre of the village, in a narrow lane, you find Casa Eloise, an independent air-conditioned apartment on the first floor of a recently renovated house. It is about 65 m2 and consists of a living room with dining area and kitchen corner ( 4 burners, oven, big fridge with freezer, dishwasher, washing machine), sofa bed, satTV , one double bedroom, one bedroom with bunk beds, bathroom with shower. Four people can sleep in the apartment . Through a staircase you reach a private seaview terrace where you can enjoy your meals, and from here through a spiral staircase you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the sea from a sunny large roof terrace which is shared with the guests of another apartment, Casa Michelle, the same owner’s.
With a nice 10 minutes walk on a quite steepy path from the historical centre, you can reach the wide village beach where you find a beach umbrella and 2 deckchairs included in the rent. You can also arrive at the beach by car or, best of all, you can visit other small beaches along the coast, not far from the village.
Both in spring and in autumn the weather is mild and you can lie on the beach, have nice swims in the sea and get sun tanned.
Peschici and Gargano is the right place if you like to be taken up in the southern Italian atmosphere.
The village Peschici is the “gem” of Gargano, it is a cliff-top village which dates back to 950 A.D.. The village itself is a cumulous of little white houses scattered against the rock. From afar you are dazzled by the white houses in the sun; at night the village looks like a “crib”… At the foot of Peschici is a white sandy beach and, if you hire a boat, especially in spring and late summer, you discover lonely bays and coves of extraordinary charm. Excursion boats take you to “grotte” and to Tremiti islands, quite an unspoilt area with a small local community with wonderful beaches, a paradise for divers.
And what about food all year round ? The local cuisine, the typical “cucina mediterranea” is rich and varied and includes genuine flavours such as olive oil, caciocavallo and pecorino cheese, fish, tomatoes, handmade pasta

Apulia is famous for being the place where the sound of the sea and the wind are coupled with the unique, breathtaking panorama of Gargano promontory in the north of the region.
This hilly promontory is strong, wild and much varied: terraced fields, olive plantations, lemons and oranges orchards, Aleppo pines, lakes, steep white coast alternating with large sandy shores, bays, caves and marine cliffs. Gargano is also a 120.000 hectares National Park with forests, lagoons, marine reserves and mountains.
Every season of the year is worth a visit: choose spring if you love nature and want to look for wild asparagus and for orchids, the queens of the flower kingdom. In Gargano in the woods and hills there is the highest concentration of wild orchids in Europe: 85 species with a stunning range of colours.
Choose summer if you love sea, beaches, music, people and autumn if you appreciate mushrooms, good fish, tranquillity and silence.
