This nineteenth century country estate with its own chapel is situated in the north of Apulia. The owner has lovingly converted it into a modern refuge for rest and relaxation, still true to the original style. The warm and subtle atmosphere of the two apartments is accented by selected antiques and a colour scheme of greens and blues – the refreshing tones of sea and sky. In the “Gargano” apartment, the original timber ceiling, fireplace and stone walls have been retained, preserving the building’s rustic origins. The “Bronte” apartment features whitewashed vaulted ceilings and bright rooms divided by arched doorways. Another apartment is occasionally occupied by the owner. The area, the estate, its modern Mediterranean-style swimming pool (18 by 9 metres), outdoor pizza oven and barbecue area surrounded by lush vegetation all add up to the perfect place to relax and unwind from a hectic everyday life. The local region is steeped in history and known for its wheat fields, olive groves and excellent olive oil. Not to forget the many historical sites dating back to the Holy Roman Emperor Frederick II – ideal for all sorts of impressive excursions.
