The Historical Residence
Completely restored in 2002, Palazzo Tour d’Eau is the ideal place to stay for anyone looking to be taken up in the simplicity and beauty of this historical residence. From its perch on the very highest point of the rocky village hill, the palace commands a spectacular panoramic view of the whole valley. The quality of service and careful attention to detail make every guests stay rich with prestige and comfort.
Rooms
We have only six rooms available in this exclusive residence. The rooms are very big and full of comforts. Each room has its own bathroom, satellite TV, brand new beds, mini bar and an astonishing view of the valley through the lookout towers. Clearly a great place to relax.
The cost for B&B is 100 euros double occupancy.
Town
The palace is located in Carunchio, a small town that belongs to the “Borghi piu’ belli d’Italia”, an association that has deemed it as one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. The village is at 700 meters above sea level, and it is not visible from any main highway, making it one of Italy’s true treasures, tucked away and saved only for those who appreciate it.

There are many locations, selfcatering activities to do around this great region.
Vasto: A beautiful town with a population of 50,000. Good shopping, many fun restaurants and a great beach in Vasto Marina. Just a 30 minutes drive.
Shopping in outlet stores.
Tremiti islands: From Vasto, you can depart to the Tremiti islands. Over here you will find one of the cleanest and crystal clear waters. Great for snorkelling. It feels like you are in the Carrabeans.
Trabocco: Visit old fishing house, Abruzzo style.
Acquafun: A great water park based in Vasto, one of the largest on the Adriatic coast.
Museums: There are many museums and old churches since it is so close to Rome
Rome: only 2 and half hour drive
Naples: only 2 hour drive
Roccaraso: The tallest spot of the Appenines, great skiing resorts and fantastic hiking trails. Only one hour drive.
Culinary tours: Palazzo tour d’Eau works with Abruzzocibus.com, a cookery course. With advance notice we can arrange one, two or three day course.
