This is a beautiful villa set in its own gardens with a sweeping drive to the terrace, olive groves and vineyard. Enjoy panoramic views of the Majiella and Gran Sasso mountains, the hilltop town of Elice, villages and rolling hills. Situated close to the Adriatic coast with its miles of sandy beaches to the east, and to the Majella mountain range to the west; Elice is perfectly positioned for a beach, walking, or cycling holiday. Or simply sit on the terrace in the perfect stillness and watch the local farmers tend the vines and olives in the valley. The property comprises 3 bedrooms upstairs with bathroom and a large kitchen, sitting room and shower room downstairs. In the gardens there is a shaded eating area, plenty of room for lounging in the sun and when you are ready to eat why not have a barbecue on the terrace or even try the outside pizza oven! Nothing could be better than a meal overlooking the fabulous views whilst enjoying a glass of local Montepulciano wine.

The refrigerator has a freezing compartment. The newly fitted kitchen is well equipped with cooking utensils and tea towels.

Abruzzo is a beautiful area of Italy, much like Tuscany but without the price tag. The beach is just a twenty minute drive from the Villa and these are shops and restaurant within walking distance. The area is unspoilt and you will receive a warm welcome.

Off the package holiday beaten track beautiful Abruzzo is well served by budget airlines and the motorway network from Europe and north/south of Italy and Rome. The area is likened to Tuscany and is unspoilt and friendly. Long sandy beaches at Pescara and Pineto attract sun worshippers whilst inland the beauty of the National Park is enjoyed by walkers and bikers. Our villa is near to mediaval Elice which hosts a festival each summer attended by people from miles around. The villa is easily reached from the airport and the Pescara Nord motorway junction and has off road parking. Local restaurants serve the locally famous arrosticini -lamb skewers and the Mugnia pasta dish alongside well known Italian favourites. The villa has an enclosed garden containing fruit trees including figs for you to pick in season. We picked it for the view. We love watching the changes with the light and conditions, sometimes the Majella range being crystal clear but more often the Gran Sasso. The 180 degree view from the villa is breathtaking.
