Wake up to birds of prey overhead in the southern-most Alpine region of Europe. Less than 2 hours from Rome & 1 hour from Pescara's airport, this is a beautifully renovated villa. From the friendly village of Pacentro you are in 1 national park & you can see 2 more. Whether you want to see the wildlife, visit the castles & hermit sanctuaries, bathe along the 130km of coastline (in the summer) or ski (in the winter), this area has everything.
The villa is very spaciously set out: A well equipped kitchen, with balcony, leads to a large living room, with wood stove & 2 balconies; the spacious bathroom (with balcony) is on the same floor as a double bedroom (with balcony), a twin bedroom (with balcony) & a separate wc; the next floor finds the master (double)bedroom, with en-suite & another double bedroom; up again to the roof terrace, with views over the snow capped mountains & the national parks.
The House has full central heating throughout. In the spring or autumn, when you do not want it on, there is an open fire in the kitchen & a wood-burning stove in the living room.
The kitchen is very extensively equipped & there is a 2nd set of crockery & utensils, along with a separate fridge, by the roof terrace for those BBQs. The kitchen also has a breakfast table, pantry & large fridge-freezer.
The living room has a large dinning table & chairs & many lounge chairs. There are a few games, as well as extensive maps & guides to the area.
The enormous bathroom contains a large bath (with views across the valley), separate shower, basin & wc.
There is also a separate, second, wc.
On this floor there are large, well equipped twin & double bedrooms, both with balconies.
Upstairs is another well equipped double bedroom & the master bedroom, with walk-in wardrobe & large en-suite shower, basin & wc. There are also 2 spare beds here.
Upstairs, again, to the large roof terrace, with dramatic 360 degree views.
