The house is set on Collecimino Hill over 500m ASL in the hamlet of San Giorgio.The property is well equipped with all you will need for a relaxing stay in this part of the Italian countryside.
The house is wonderfully spacious and comfortably furnished with all you will need for a relaxing holiday.The house has a shaded terrace at the front with tables and chairs to enjoy the amazing views in all directions and gardens/lawn to the side and rear of the property again with extensive views to the mountains and the Adriatic coast.
Within the locality you will find it easy to fill your days visiting the local towns,villages and markets stopping off for coffee in the many cafes and bars that are so much part of life in Italy. There are many hilltop towns and villages in the local area Castiglione Messer Raimondo, Penne, Montefino Bisenti-the list is endless.
Throughout the summer months there are festivals and Sagra in all the small towns and villages locally. Penne which is a 15 minute drive away has non stop evening attractions throughout August including a Medieval Sagra, "White Night ",an all night festival and "Sheep Night ", a food festival -these are well worth a visit to get a flavour of the real Abruzzi lifestyle.There are numerous museums and archeological sites too.In Penne guided walking tours of the town and natural beauty spots can be organised and booked, visiting places in the mountans and hills in Abruzzo.
If its the beach you like then again a 30-40 km drive will get you to Pineto, Montesilvano, and Silvi beaches. Further down the coast beyond Ortona are the Trabocchi -amazing fishing platforms contructed from wood washed up by the tide.
The house is laid out as follows, welcoming entrance hall with church pew, well equipped kitchen,dining room with log fire and space to seat 8,6 at the table with additional breakfast table and two stools. There is also a sofa and large chair to relax by the fire in Autumn and Winter.An entrance leads to a vestibule and alternative entrance to the house with two spacious living rooms with seating and sofabed. From the hall there is a downstairs shower room with WC and basin and washing machine.
The staircase from the entrance hall gives an opportunity to take in the amazing mountain views to the front of the property. Upstairs are 3 large bedrooms, 2 double and 1 with twin beds.All rooms have beautiful views of the countryside and mountains.There is another bathroom with bath, WC, bidet and basin.

There is shaded terrace to the front of the property with tables and chairs.There is extensives space around the house including a garden,vegetable plots and agricultural land to the side and rear.
To the side of the house are outbuildings including a rustic outdoor kitchen and parking for 3+ cars and a garage.

Linen and towels are provided.We would appreciate the use of your own towels for the beach. The house will sleep an extra two people on a sofa bed at an added cost of £125 per week at all times of the year. Rental for less than 7 days will be considered -please enquire. A simple welcome pack is provided. On arrival a £200 or equivilent Euro deposit is required for breakages which will be refunded on day of departure Obviously day to day breakages such as crockery etc will not be included. 30% deposit required at the time of booking with bookings being paid in full 6 weeks before departure. NB. Changeover days are Saturday but can be negotiated. Prices include all bills except central heating which is charged at cost price (metered). Firewood can be purchased from local DIY stores or can be supplied at a charge -this will power the central heating too. No smoking inside the house.
