The spacious, comfortable aparment is the entire ground floor of a 2-story house. The neighbourhood is quiet and residential but the beach, shops, restaurants, ice cream shops, etc. are all within easy walking distance. There is a garden in back that is exclusive to the apartment, and guests can enjoy summer suppers and barbecues outdoors. Winter guests can enjoy a large fireplace. The town of Martinsicuro is on the Adriatic coast, in sunny Abruzzo near the border with Marche. The area is known for its easy access to seaside and hillside pastimes. Martinsicuro itself is flat, and many enjoy bicycling there. The town has public beaches as well as private ones where it's possible to rent umbrellas and other equipment. Outdoor festivals are common in the area, especially on summer evenings. For mountain enthusiasts, the impressive Gran Sasso is also reachable in 1.5 hours by car. The closest airport is in Pescara (serviced by Ryanair). The closest train station is San Benedetto del Tronto. Rome is a 3-hour bus ride away. For those coming by car, the apartment is 5 kilometres from the exit of a main motorway. A large shopping centre is a 5-minute drive away. There is parking space for 2 or 3 cars in the driveway, which is also exclusive to the apartment. Amenities include a microwave, washing machine and television. A cot is available for small children upon request. There are 4 large bedrooms, 2 with private bathrooms, as well as a large living room, kitchen and an additional large bathroom. Cooking equipment and dishes are provided, but sheets and towels are not. Rentals generally start and end on Saturdays. Check-in time is usually 4 pm and check-out time is usually noon.
