This is an outstanding elegant Georgian house set at the heart of a rolling estate of several hundred acres in the Wicklow Mountains, 25 miles south of Dublin. The Estate offers complete privacy and seclusion to its guests and dates from the early 19th century with a spectacular five-acre watergarden and is surrounded by woodlands and pastures.
The house has 8 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms, a panelled library with marble fireplace, a sitting room with open fire, a spectacular entrance hall, a formal dining room seating 20 guests and a large family kitchen.
Glendalough House is a spectacular setting for marquee weddings and offers exclusive use of the venue. With extensive amenities within close proximity, i.e. golfing, fishing, walking, it is an ideal property for that special weekend break where you can also enjoy exquisite cuisine prepared by our catering team.
The house was the ancestral seat of former President, Erskine Childers, and the great Irishman Michael Collins was a frequent guest. Many Hollywood celebrities enjoy its privacy. Glendalough House is a taste of paradise, nestled between Djouce Mountains and the stunning Roundwood lakes.
Situated 25 miles south of Dublin and just ten minutes from the picturesque Sally Gap.
Guests are invited to stroll and enjoy the serenity of Glendalough’s five acre water garden designed with ponds and waterfalls, planted with rare shrubs, water lilies, and a 200 year old dwarfed spruce tree, one of many imported species from all over the world. The house has been restored to a very high standard.

Bedroom 3 Twin bedded with dressing room & en suite bathroom. Bathroom has regular bath with shower attachment, sink and loo.
Bedroom 4 Twin bedded room. Sharing bathroom with 3 above. This room is decorated with pine furniture and would normally be occupied by a nanny or children.
