This home is ideal as a base for walking holidays, artistic and photographic pursuits, nature enthusiasts, and simply those seeking Serenity! The Ballyknockan Inn, only a stone's throw from the house offers lively entertainment twice a week, and the best pint of Guinness around!
County Wicklow itself is better known as the "Garden of Ireland". Some of the places of interest in this area include; Glendalough lake and ancient monastery, the Sally Gap, Enniskerry, Roundwood, The Glen of Immaal, The Military Road.

Travel Options
- Nearest Airport : Dublin Airport at 40 kilometers distance;
- Travel Info: Nearest Ferry: Dun Laoghaire: 30 km; "Serenity" is one hour's drive from Dublin Airport. Ballyknockan is very easy to find as you can connect with the motorway on leaving airport terminal and most of the journey is by motorway.
Car hire would be beneficial, however, for small groups (3 and under), we can collect you from Dublin Airport and drive you to your destination for a nominal fee.
Taxi would be expensive, but can be arranged if required. A list of car hire companies can be provided at time of booking.
It is also 50 minutes drive from Dun Laoghaire port, making it accessible for those taking ferry journeys to or from the UK.
