Main Description
Lismore Castle is situated in the beautiful Blackwater Valley in Waterford commanding a superb position overlooking the River Blackwater. To the North are rolling, wooded hills, to the south the twin Cathedral town (Anglican and Catholic) of Lismore is a few minutes walk. The peaceful upper garden enclosed by walls was built by the Earl of Cork in 1626/7. The lower garden with its magnificent Yew Walk, contains a fine collection of Camellias, Magnolias and other shrubs.

Accommodation: 10 double bedrooms, 2 twins. All the bedrooms have their own bathroom although not necessarily en-suite.

Living areas: Drawing room, sitting room, dining room, billiards room. Banqueting hall for larger receptions.

The castle is fully staffed including a butler and a resident Agent. The price includes dinner, afternoon tea and breakfast. The cook uses the finest local ingredients in her excellent dishes.
Luncheon can be provided if required at an additional cost of €52 pps.
Extra guests for dinner (not staying in the Castle) will be charged €70 or €90 if dining in the Banqueting Hall.Prices are based on up to 12 people and thereafter an extra €320 is charged per person per night until a maximum capacity of 24 is reached.
The Castle is also available for shorter lettings during Irish Bank Holidays (except in August) and in low season with a minimum of a 4 night stay.

Cancellation Policy
In the event of cancellation of your rental, the following charges will apply to each property booked:
More than 90 days before the beginning of the rental period: your deposit will be returned less €200.00 administration charge. 90 - 60 days: 50% or first weeks rental, whichever is less, unless the property is successfully re-let, in which case your deposit and balance will be returned less €200.00 administration charge.
Less than 60 days: full charges will be applied, unless the property is successfully re-let, in which case your deposit and balance will be returned less €200.00 administration charge.
