Hughie's Cottage is a charming self-catering Cottage in the West of Ireland. The Cottage has been completely refurbished in 2007 and lies ca. 10 miles from Westport near the small village of Ballintober.

Hughie's Cottage has three individual bed rooms and will host 6 persons comfortably. The large sitting room has an open fire place which makes sitting around a traditional Irish turf fire plenty of fun. The south west facing kitchen cum dining room has natural daylight from morning till night. A big pine table will seat all visitors for supper or dinner. The kitchen is equipped with all necessary kitchen appliances.

The master bed room has its own bathroom and each bed room will sleep two persons.

Hughie's Cottage is only surrounded by unspoiled countryside and a patio makes sitting in the quiet garden the perfect relaxation.

A shop is about 0.7 miles away.

The cottage is ideal as base for Golf or Fishing trips. It serves also as base for sightseeing or beach holidays on Mayo's sandy beaches.

Deposit is usually one third of the rent. Deposit is accepted via check but preferred option is bank transfer. The rest of the rent has to be paid at arrival. Electricity and oil are metered and will be charged separately at cost price. Note: Special rates are available for long weekends and longer term renting.
