Cuanbeg, when translated from Irish, means ‘Little Haven'. It is an authentic , traditional Irish cottage which was originally constructed in the 1930’s. It has been beautifully restored and now offers a unique experience combining all of the charm and tradition that you would expect of a cottage with the highest levels of luxury and comfort, including a state of the art hot tub offering the perfect way to relax and unwind after a hard day, at the beach, walking, fishing or golfing. Cuanbeg has 3 double bedrooms which can comfortably sleep 8 people with the addition of 2 fold out beds. The main bedroom is ensuite and there is also a communal bathroom incorporating a bath and separate power shower. The traditional appearance of the newly fitted kitchen cleverly houses all of the conveniences one could wish for, including a range style cooker, double oven, microwave, dishwasher and a large fridge freezer.

Blue Flag Beaches: Ballinskelligs (10 minutes drive) An extensive sandy beach in a rural environment. The area is a designated Natural heritage area. The beach is located on the western side of ?Ballinskelligs Harbour, 2km south of the village of Dungeagan.. Derrynane (20 minutes drive) An extensive sandy beach in Derrynane Bay. The beach is situated in proximity to a Natural Heritage Area of national importance. The village of Caherdaniel is located two miles to the north west of the beach and is on the Ring of Kerry. This beach is lifeguarded from July 1 to August 31 12-7 daily.
Walking: At 215km, the world renowned Kerry Way is Ireland's longest signposted walking trail and also one of the most popular. It starts and finishes in Killarney. Looping around the Iveragh Peninsula, where Cuanbeg is located, the Kerry Way goes anti-clockwise, passing through some of the most isolated and dramatic countryside in the country.
