A charming and secluded 3 bedroom 5/6 person detached cottage on 2 acres with fabulous views and located in a beautiful and remote area of County Kerry in Southern Ireland. Overlooking The Shannon Estuary and within walking distance of the village of Tarbert.
The cottage lies within its own grounds of approximately 2 acres and has a large in-out drive to the front, with gardens to the sides and rear and a large field to the rear and side of the house. Access is provided by a long private driveway off the main road direct to the front double gates. There is a large detached garage to the side of the cottage. The uninterrupted views of the surrounding countryside and the Shannon Estuary are fabulous and you can see for miles.
The living accommodation briefly consists of one single and two double bedrooms, a small cosy lounge and a large kitchen/dinning room. From the Kitchen/dinning room and the lounge there are fantastic views. The cottage is very light and bright and has been decorated in light colours.
The kitchen/dinning room is very large and is well equipped and includes electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine, tumble dryer, large pine dresser, large pine dinning table and chairs. There are three windows, two of which have fabulous views over the Shannon Estuary.
The location of the property is secluded and very private however the village is only a 15 minute walk away which gives easy access if you do not want to take the car with you on an evening out at the local pub.
Large gardens and fields of approximately 2 acres surround the cottage offering fabulous uninterrupted views all around the property. Large in and out drive with central flower bed, garden furniture includes table with 6 chairs and sun loungers.
In front of the cottage there is a stony trail which takes you down through fields to the beach. The beach is approximately a 15 minute walk. It is a secluded stony beach which stretches for miles in each direction with views over to County Clare.
Ballybunion golf club voted world's number one resort in 2007 is approximately 25 minutes drive from the cottage.
The village of Tarbert is approximately a 15 minute walk, Tarbert Bridewell where tourists are invited to relive The Court House Drama of being 'Sent Down' in the Bridewell of the 1830's and to follow the wretched life of Thomas Dillon as he is charged with wilful trespass and witness spine chilling recreation with life size models, is to the left as you enter the village on the ferry road. You will also pass the start of The John F Leslie Woodland Walk on your way to the village.
Supermarkets, post offices, pubs, restaurants, internet cafe, pharmacy and doctor's surgery can all be found in Tarbert
