This lovely stone house is a detached property, able to sleep six people and situated near a picturesque village in the heart of County Kerry, Ireland.

This delightful, detached stone house is set in a scenic location close to Blackstones Bridge and the River Caragh. At under three miles from the village of Glencar in County Kerry, this property boasts panoramic views and has been lovingly restored to a high standard. The cottage now offers two en-suite bedrooms, a cosy sitting room with open fire and a welcoming kitchen that incorporates a wood-burning stove, dining area and sliding doors to the garden - a perfect place to relax against a backdrop of beautiful scenery. The village of Glencar is close by and provides basic amenities, whilst the surrounding area is full of many activities.

Activities

Located above Caragh Lake, the village of Glencar is a wonderful spot for birdwatchers and nature lovers due to its proximity to Lickeen Forest, Caragh River and Caragh Lake – all of which offer wonderful scenery as well as great walking and angling opportunities. The region is also famous for its hunting season and game includes woodcock, snipe, pheasant, duck and hare between November and January. The village itself is home to The Climber’s Inn - which serves food and drink – as well as a post office and food store. The pretty town of Killorglin is within easy reach and is often referred to as the gateway to the Ring of Kerry. This charming settlement is packed with cafes, pubs and restaurants, whilst numerous sandy beaches and golf courses are within easy driving distance.

				High Season Price:	£422 per Week

This property does not accept short breaks. All prices are inclusive of the booking fee. Change Over Day : Sat Winter Short Breaks are available at many properties in the 'Winter' period. Extra nights are charged pro rata. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the 'Low' and 'Mid' periods. A 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date. Last Minute Breaks (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the 'Low', 'Mid', 'High', 'Peak', 'Christmas' and 'NEW YEAR' periods. A 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date.
