This delightful detached holiday bungalow is situated between the villages of Knightstown and Chapeltown on Valentia Island, County Kerry, and offers high quality, well-equipped accommodation including three generously proportioned bedrooms, a light and spacious kitchen with dining area, and a comfortable sitting area, complete with oil-fired stove. There are large enclosed gardens with a picnic table for alfresco dining on balmy evenings. The amenities of Knightstown including shops, pubs and restaurants are less than one mile away and the beautiful marina of Cahersiveen is an easy drive away.

Facilities

Full oil central heating throughout with additional heating from oil-fired stove in sitting area. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, colour TV, video. All fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot and highchair available on request. Off road parking for 4 cars. Large enclosed lawned garden and gravelled area with picnic bench. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shops and pubs 1 mile. Lying off the coast of the Iveragh Peninsula in County Kerry and accessible from the mainland by ferry from Reenard Point or road bridge at Portmagee, Knightstown is the main village on Valentia Island. The Island is renowned for its incredible 'Fogher' sea cliffs which rise up from the Atlantic Ocean on the north side of the Island. A good selection of Irish pubs, restaurants, shops and entertainment can all be found in this lively town, which is also the departure point for sightseeing boat trips and fishing trips. The fascinating subtropical gardens at nearby Glanleam House offer a unique day out for the family. Valentia Island is home to approximately 650 residents, and as one of the westernmost inhabited sites in Europe, it was the site of the first permanent communications link between Europe and the United States.

OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date. <br/><br/>Last Minute Breaks (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the 'Low', 'Mid', 'High', 'Peak', 'Christmas' and 'NEW YEAR' periods. A 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date.
