Resting quietly on the northern section of the beautiful Ring of Kerry at the foot of the Seefin Mountain, the small fishing village of Glenbeigh is just six miles from Killorglin. This lovely village offers a wealth of traditional inns and good restaurants set amidst spectacular scenery and provides easy access to the Blue Flag beach at Rossbeigh Strand. This is a sandy beach stretching over four miles and offering a wealth of activities including safe swimming, adventure sports and paragliding. The surrounding area also offers a range of other activities such as fishing, horse-riding, golf and canoeing or walking through the Coomasaharn horseshoe mountain. Other walks with stunning views can be found at Seefin and Curra to the east and west and Slievemish to the north.
