Go north for the scenic Killarney National Park, south to the Gougane Barra Forest Park, or get on your bike and follow the Beara Kilgarvan cycling route, which runs through Kilgarvan and is only 1.5 miles from the property. Bayview Cottage is a delightful three-bedroom holiday home that provides traditional comfortable and cosy accommodation for up to six people, and makes the ideal base for exploring this beautiful area of Ireland. The town of Kenmare and its pubs, restaurants and shops is very close to the cottage, as are the fun water sports available at Kenmare Bay.

Kilgarvan is situated in the middle of farming country in County Kerry, Ireland, on the road between Kenmare and Clonkeen. The Beara Kilgarvan cycling route passes right through the village, offering wonderful cycling opportunities to those who like to get about on two wheels. The bustling town of Kenmare is eight miles away, and offers good restaurants, arts and crafts shops, and welcoming pubs that play traditional Irish music. The nearby 30-mile long Kenmare Bay offers water sports opportunities including kayaking and sailing, or visitors can take to the waves on the "Seafari" and spend a happy time watching the Kenmare Seal Colony.
