Situated on the extreme southwestern tip of the Iveragh Peninsula in County Kerry, Ireland, this area offers walking on the Kerry Way, stunning scenery, cycling routes, horse riding trails, diving, angling, and some of the most superb sandy beaches in Ireland. Two minutes from the village you can hop aboard a Skellig Island Boat Trip, or visit the local Heritage Centres, including the Skellig Experience. The town of Cahersiveen 10 miles away has an excellent harbour and marina which offer sailing, trout and salmon fishing and deep-sea angling as well as traditional pubs, cafes, restaurants, antique and arts and crafts shops, and street fairs selling fresh local produce.
