Roundstone is in the heart of Connemara on the West coast of Irleand, about an hour north west of Galway city and 30 min from Clifden. 
 
The Wooden House is situated behind the picturesque harbour village of Roundstone overlooking Errisbeg mountain yet only 5 minutes walk to the village with all the pubs, restaurants and amenities. Beautiful local beaches of Gurteen and Dog's Bay nearby.  
 
The house is in a lovely, secluded spot and has a very comfortable living room with a Wood burning stove, well equipped kitchen/diner and all mod cons. 
 
With 3 good sized bedrooms, including one family room with a double bed and a bunk-bed and 2 bathrooms, this is ideal for families. 
 
Suitable for use in winter as well as summer with triple glazing and underfloor heating! 
 
Separate Utility room with washing maching. 
 
In the south facing garden there is a wooden picnic table and a gas BBQ to enjoy al fresco dining. Further garden chairs are available for use. 
 
There is also Wireless Internet access available for those who wish to bring their own laptops. 
 
The local mountain of Errisbeg is a fantastic climb to make with great views, which starts just a short stroll from the house. 
If you're coming for the walking, swimming, fishing, riding, golfing or just relaxing, Roundstone certainly is the perfect spot.

Roundstone has a good selection of Pubs (6 open in the high season!) that all serve food, 2 of which are also proper restaurants. The village also has 2 Grocery stores, Butcher, Petrol pump, Cash machine, Post office, Internet cafe and Health centre. 
 
Bicycle hire and sea fishing tours are available. 
 
2km from Roundstone, on the road to Ballyconneely, are located two of the finest beaches in Ireland. Gurteen Beach and Dog’s Bay lie back to back on a peninsula into the Atlantic Ocean. 
 
The whole coastal road from Roundstone to Clifden, which is a busy market town and well worth a visit, offers beautiful scenary and stunning beaches along the way. 
 
Connemara Golf course lies near Ballyconnelly, 20 min by car, with breathtaking views over the Atlantic Ocean and white sandy beaches. In this area you can also hire the famous Connemara Ponies for short or long treks.

Payment can be made by Bank transfer or Euro cheque Gas is included. Electricity is metered with readings taken at the start and finish of your stay.
