Wellpark House is a splendid Georgian house (built 1730), set in 1.50 acres of lawns mature tree, flowers and separate barbecue garden.It is situated in the pictureque village of Oughterard, Co.Galway. It is centrally heated and comprises tiled entrance hall with original winding staircase leading to upper floor. There is a traditional dining room and a (Laura Ashley) comfy drawing room with satellite TV and open fire. The kitchen is huge, well equipped and has an open fireplace in local stone, seating for 12, stereo, double oven, dishwasher, deep freezer and fridge.Leading from the French windows in the kitchen is a recently added Sunroom, which enables you to relax in the garden in all weathers. It is furnished wth comfortable armchairs and sofa. Utility room with washing machine and dryer and a downstairs bathroom with shower, bidet, WC and washbasin.
Upstairs there are six comfortable bedrooms, three twin, 2 kingsize and one double. There are also 2 cots for babies and an extra child's bed for a 3-5year old.
There are another 2 bathrooms (all bathrooms have Italian hand-painted tiles) with bidets, baths, WC's and an extra, separate, shower enclosure.
Wellpark is well equipped, comfortable and a real home from home.

The village Oughterard is on Lake Corrib and is an angling centre. The whole area is a paradise for angling, salmon, trout , perch Feb. to Sept.Boats and Ghillies(fishing Guides) are available for hire.
There are also boat trips on the Lake. Dolpin watching 40mins. away and plenty of fascinating Castles and historic sights of interest to visit. (and especially the Tea Shops with Home-Made Cakes and soda bread!)
There are Salmon Smokehouses to vsit.
