Spacious living/dining room with new wooden floors and open turf fire. Slate floored newly fitted kitchen complete with Belfast sink and breakfast area. Large downstairs panelled bathroom with toilet. Upstairs, new wooden floors throughout - 3 bedrooms - 2 double and a twin, with views onto the surrounding countryside of wild boglands and mountains to the back and Cleggan bay and surrounding islands to the front. Large shower room with toilet. Front and back garden with panoramic views - including the mountain range of the 12 Bens. A pretty whitewashed cobbled patio with bench. Off road parking for cars.

Picnic bench in the front garden and a bench and barbeque in the patio area. Small drive way up to front of building - parking for two cars. Newly fitted kitchen - electric oven and hob. Fridge with freezer compartment. All utensils provided. Blankets, duvets and bed linen provided. No extra charge for electricity or the oil fired central heating. A welcome grocery package will be provided. Baby sitting is available by arrangement. Bag of turf provided for the open fire. Cleggan has a Post office, shop, restaurant and pubs playing traditional music. It is a working harbour.Clifden town 7 miles away, has restaurants, pubs, craft shops and Art galleries. Its also hosts festivals throughout the year such as the Music festival and Clifden Arts Week. An hours drive: is the historical city of Galway ( City of the Tribes), which sits on the river Corrib or the mesmerizing beauty of the scenery on route to Westport via Irelands only fjord.

Local activities include: diving, swimming, tennis, walking, sailing, cycling, fishing, horse riding, golf, wind-surfing, water skiing, mountain biking,scuba diving/ painting/ Island tours/ Hill walking/ Walking tours.

A short ferry ride from Clegan is the island of Inishboffin. Explore one of the many archaeological sites in the area such as St Feichines' Church in Omey Island which is a 1 km walk/drive across the sand causeway.

Visit Kylemore Abbey and gardens and small Gothic Church.

Stop off at the Connemara National Park, which covers over 2000 hectares of scenic countryside. Red deer have been re-introduced and they have a herd of the famous pure bred Connemara pony.

The Killary Adventure Centre offers an incredible choice of activities including Irelands longest zip wire challenge. Take a trip to the Oceans Alive Sealife centre or visit one of the many pretty villages in the area such as Roundstone or Tullycross.
