Vacation Rental Description
Daisy Cottage is our holiday home in south Donegal. The property is over 100 years old and we had it completely renovated in 2008, with 2009 being our first holiday letting year.
The cottage is situated in a small, busy village between Donegal Town and the fishing port of Killybegs.

* One bedroom ground floor (double bed) with en suite wet room with disabled wc, whb, shower, and is suitable for those with limited mobility
* Egyptian cotton bedding, 2 pillows pp, white towels: 2 face/wash cloths,2hand towels,2bath towels
* Games Room.
* In house we have board games, books, cds, dvds, wii with sports games Kids toys, dvds. We also have ipod docking station & desktop computer for internet access. Mobile/cell phone can be loaned if requested
* Orchard garden and paved patio area with garden furniture & bbq. This area is walled and perfect for kids (supervised) to play
* Baby guests: we can supply on request cot, travel cot, bedding, pushchair, highchair, baby gates, steriliser, baby alarm, etc
* Pets sometimes accept with prior agreement of owner
* Beach towels, picnic dishes, cold box supplied. Also hairdryer
* No smoking inside but ok outside

BEACHES ~ Donegal has numerous sandy beaches. Within a few kilometers of Daisy Cottage there is a choice of beautiful sandy beaches.
DIVING ~ The diving area at St. John's Point (near Daisy Cottage) is one of the best in Ireland.
WIND SURFING/BODY SURFING ~ The beach at Rosnowlagh & at Bundoran are well known excellent surfing beaches.
BIRD WATCHING ~ Donegal has many species of bird. April 09 there have been sightings of a white tailed eagle, a golden eagle and merlin falcon in one area.
HISTORICAL ~ Dunkineely has one of the earliest Celtic crosses in Ireland. There are dolmens, burial tombs, etc. Donegal Castle nearby dates from the 16th century.
