Built in the reign of Elizabeth I in the l6th century and extended in Georgian times, this imposing house is located close to the town of Mallow in the lovely Blackwater Valley, 25 miles from Cork city in the south of Ireland. Bought by the first Baronet Cotter in 1650, the house has been restored and refurbished to a very high standard by its current owners. The large reception rooms are warm and welcoming, with lovely views either onto the gardens or towards the River Blackwater and the Galtee Mountains. The comfortable bedrooms enjoy a similar aspect. Extensive parkland surrounds the house. The area is rich in interest and the property is an ideal base for sightseeing and outdoor activities.

Killarney and Ballybunion golf courses are within 95 minutes and Mallow Golf Course is 1.6 km (1 mile) away. Places to visit include the Rock of Cashel, Blarney Stone and Killarney Lakes. Dublin is two and a half hours by train.
