This detached cottage is located in rural woodland near to Bantry in County Cork and can sleep six people in three bedrooms.

Cottage Rua is a detached cottage in a rural woodland location just four miles from the town of Bantry in County Cork. The cottage has three double bedrooms (one with ensuite facilities) and a family bathroom which make it suitable for six people. There is also a fitted kitchen with a dining area and a sitting room with an open fire. Outside the cottage is a decked area with garden furniture and off road parking for six cars. With the stunning County Cork countryside and the coast to discover, there is bound to be something for everyone at Cottage Rua.

Activities

Bantry is a town in West Cork between Sheep's Head and the Beara Peninsula. It is home to a variety of shops, pubs and restaurants ideal for dining. 'Bantry House' is in an elevated position above the town and home to a rich collection of tapestries, furniture and art, while there are also beautiful gardens to explore. Just a short boat ride from the town in the heart of Bantry Bay you will find Whiddy Island and Garnish Island. Garnish Island was turned into an exotic garden in the early 20th Century and is home to a variety of plant species, which thrive in the warm, moist climate and peaty soils.

All bookings are subject to an additional £35.00 booking fee.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.

Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.

"Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.
