Lough Derg on the River Shannon is one of Irelands finest lakes and is renowned for its superb game an course fishing.  
The views are some of the most beautiful in Ireland.  
 
Interior  
The house is stylishly furnished, a spacious sitting room with wood burning stove, a large country style kitchen cum dining room are fully equiped with all modern conveniences. There are three comfortable bedrooms. Two of the bedrooms are en suite, the third one can use the bathroom in the hall. The beds are provided with high standard bed linen.  
 
Environment  
Only 2.5 km away is Whitegate village and Mountshannon village, which offer shops, pubs and restaurants. The village Killaloe is situated 20 minutes away.  
 
Nearby amenities include golfing, fishing, boating and watersports, the famous East Clare walk and horse riding. There are many historical cities in this area eg Holy Island, Bunratty Castle.  
Don't forget to visit the famous Burren and Cliffs of Moher and the sandy beaches to the west.  
An angling boat and outboard are available by arrangement and there is a private pier

Horse riding centre approx 15 minutes from the houses. 
Choice of gold courses- Portumana and Mountshannon are two excellent optioins.
