Vacation Rental Description
Lakeside Paradise is available to rent as self catering accommodation.
The house is newly refurbished, all the furniture (except the upstairs lounge) is brand new, the beds & mattresses are luxurious as are all the furnishings, kitchen furniture, crockery, cutlery etc.
The property consists of five stunning bedrooms, two lounges, a large kitchen and magnificent views of Lake Derries, one of the Lough Gowna lakes.
Every bedroom is fitted with a colour TV with its own remote control. The upstairs lounge also has a large 27” TV, with remote controls for the TV, DVD and VHS player. There is quite a large catalogue of DVDs and VHS video cassettes for the use of our guests.
The farm has a spring well which produces crystal clear water - a little like drinking water from a spring well atop a high mountain. The water is naturally cold and tastes wonderful.
The front of the house features beautiful lawns with magnificent lake views, whilst the back of the house features an established garden which in summer is ideal for relaxing, reading and enjoying the melodious sounds of birds in the background.

Cavan offers some of the most spectacular scenery in Ireland, has 365 lakes, is close to Dublin and other major centres, yet our setting is tranquil, picturesque & private.
The village of Gowna and its hinterland has long been a popular destination for short breaks, fishing outings, day trippers and hikers. The village boasts a unique combination of rural charm and contemporary sophistication. Recent improvements in infrastructure make this lake land paradise surprisingly accessible to a host of urban centres including; Cavan, Mullingar and Longford, it is only an hour and a half from Dublin and about two hours from both Galway and Belfast.
