Belturbet is within easy reach of Dublin, Belfast or Knock Airports. Dublin Airport to Belturbet is just 90 minutes on the new M3/N3 Motorway. Dublin Port and Rosslare Harbour are all within comfortable driving distances.

Tony Vesey, the proprietor of Erneside Townhouses, Belturbet, has being involved with Tourism and Festival in Belturbet over the last 35 years, and spotted the demand for quality self-catering accommodation some 15 years ago and this led to his commissioning Erneside Townhouses, near Kilconny Bridge, over the winding River Erne which sweeps through Belturbet meandering towards the sea at Ballyshannon.

Highlights of the Tourism Year 2012 in Belturbet will include the 36th Annual Festival of The Erne which takes place late July and early August/

Irelands love and encouragement of Traditional Irish Music, Dance and Culture is well known, and Cavan is delighted to host the Fleadh Ceoil 2012 from 13 August - 19th August 2012, a weeks celebration of whats best in Ireland.
