3 Bedroom Farmhouse in Transdanubia

Our holiday house, Hungary holiday house, lies in the south of Hungary in Egyhazaskozar, in the area of Pecs. It is a splendidly renovated old farm with much space. The garden with stables and sheds covers 5000 meters of fenced ground and form as a result, a safe playground for children. The village lies at the foot of the Mecsekmountains an extension of the Alps. A wonderfully accessible nature area where one encounters much game such as stags, fox and wild bor. The stork is also present. One finds here rest, forest, mounts and waters like lake Balaton and the Danube. Ancient cities and picturesque villages. You can go walking, cycling, horseback riding, fish, swim, play golf, basketball, tennis and bowl. People are friendly, welcoming and love to chat. One speaks reasonable German and the young people a little English. There is lots to do in the area. In Bikal, two kilometres further on is a castle with excellent restaurant, sport facilities and relaxation in the spa. Nearly all villages in the area have good restaurants. For the more wide choice one has been designated on Komlo, Bonyhad, Dombovar and Pecs. Of course a visit to Budapest is a must. Here one finds excellent restaurants, cafes, terraces and health spa's like Gellyert hotel. Budapest, sometimes called Paris of the east, is rich with old buildings. A boat tour concerning the Danube is a must and climbing the old citadel visiting the fisherman's bastillion and the old palace is something not to be missed. 
 

In the garden and veranda there are many romantic places where one can find privacy. Lovely spots with shade or sunshine. Alle 5500mtrs are fenced so its save for your children or pets to play all day in the garden.
