Cottage in the beautiful picteresque fishing village of Kilada. Ideal for couples or families.
Vacation Rental Description
It has been tastefully furnished and includes all modern amenities, including air conditioning and TV in all rooms. The fully equipped dining/kitchen area is open plan and leads into the open plan living area. Next to the dining area is a wash room with WC and hand basin. A spiral staircase leads up to the bedrooms. Bedroom one has a double bed and a balcony, with open countryside views. Bedroom two has 2 single beds. Both bedrooms have built in wardrobes. Next to one of the bedrooms is a shower room with WC and hand basin. The cottage is situated in a residential area of Kilada and only 75 meters from the harbour front and children's play area. It is a picturesque and quiet village with the main activities being fishing, and the building of fishing boats nearby. The shipyard of Kilada is one of the few remaining places where ships are still built in the Argolida region. Lepitsa beach is one of the best beaches in the whole area and is only 2 km from the cottage. Kilada is also famous for its variety of fresh fish restaurants along the harbour front. Across from Kilada are the Caves of Franchthi. Internationally, they are known for their most valuable pre-historic findings, which date back to 45,000 BC. Besides being an excellent base from which to explore other historical sites, the surrounding areas of Kilada offer unspoiled natural beauty.
Facilities
Market suitability for all ages, particularly those with an interest in cultural history, island hopping, rock climbing, or relaxing on some of the wonderful surrounding beaches. THE HOUSE IS STRICTLY NON-SMOKING! Smokers are welcomed and will be requested to smoke in the outside courtyard. All linen and towels are included in the rental rates and are changed regularly. Cleaning is completed only in the middle of a 2 week stay. Water, electricity and central heating included in the rental rates. Beach towels available for guests. Beach accessories available for guests (parasols, cool box etc) Board games, playing cards and books available for guests. There will be many provisions available upon arrival for guests. A full comprehensive information pack is available for guests. Personal laundry available @ 10 euros per load which includes ironing.
Activities
From the cottage in Kilada, there are many historical and cultural towns or villages around the mainland coast: Porto Heli, Fourni, Methana, Kranidi, Galatas and Trizina, and Ermioni are just a few examples close by, or take a trip further afield to places such as Nafplio, which was once the capital of Greece, Argos, Mycenae, Epidavros, Athens, Tiryns, Assini, Tolon, Ancient Corinth and the Corinth Canal itself. Catch the hydrofoil from Ermioni and explore the Saronic islands of Spetses, Poros or Hydra. Take the opportunity for shopping, riding, walking, especially to the caves at Frachthi, rock climbing at Lizards Rock at Thermissia, Didyma, cycling, hiking, especially through the gorge of Katafyki, scuba diving in Ermioni, as Ermioni has one of the best International diving schools, or relaxing on the beaches and swimming in the crystal blue sea.

A 25% deposit is required on all bookings with final balance paid one month prior to arrival. Payment in full required for bookings made less than 2 months prior to arrival. Payments by UK sterling by bank transfers, bankers draft or personal cheque. Payments in Euros only by bank transfers. No security deposit is requested, however charges will incur in the event of damage to property or key losses. Damage to property will be determined by the overall cost of repair, or replacement. £75 will be applicable for key loss, as locks will have to be replaced. Plenty of flexibility with check in/out except on changeover days, then the following is applicable: CHECK IN at 17:00 CHECK OUT at 10:00 The accommodation must be left clean and tidy upon departure.
