Closest beach in Lygia 1,5km, then best beaches by car, are in Gyra & Agios Ioannis location, near Lefkas town, only 5-7km away.TRAVEL: 18km from Preveza-Lefkada airport.Taxis are available, while renting a car is most convenient.The important port of Igoumenitsa is 120km away (linked 3-4 times daily with ferries to the main Italian ports). DISTANCES: 2 min drive or a short 10 min walk (600m) from the tiny & completely unspoilt mountain village of Katouna.Lygia, which is not a commercialised, a small area with a harbour, several pleasant beaches & coves, a useful variety of food shops & particularly good seafood restaurants, is only 900m from the villa.Lefkas town is just 6km away.
