It is listed as a protected Greek cultural site and loved and appreciated through the world by creative people who find here an haven of inspiration.
Hydra has an unmeasured natural beauty which will come as a refreshment from the modern world and its' worries.
The people from Hydra are genuine and courageous and have past the test in Greek history liberating the country from occupation with their fleet of ships.
Freedom or death is their moto, Elefteria i Tanatos. This is still the case today.
