Beautiful villa built on a private plot of 1000 sq metres providing breathtaking views overlooking the Ionian sea and minutes walk from Xigia beach. The villa has 3 bedrooms with a surface area of 124 sq.m capable of accommodating 6 persons comfortably or up to 8 if requred. It offers a fully equipped kitchen,lounge/dining area, two bathrooms, separate cloakroom, large verandas and balcony plus air conditioning. The individual stone built villa has been constructed with love and respect to the natural environment's beauty using natural stone and wood, it has it's own private swimming pool with sun loungers, umbrella and BBQ area. The distance from the sea is only 80m and the view extends from the neighbouring island of Kefalonia to the north and the opposite coastline of Peloponnese to the far end of Zakynthos.

If you are interested in water sports the Peligoni Club is 15 minutes away, ideal for families with teenagers, it offers sailing & windsurfing. Sports membership should be reserved while the two bars and restaurant, including party nights are open to all. From Micro Nisi and Agios Nikolaos, you can rent a boat to explore the hidden little coves around the coast or snorkel in the azure clear water. Enjoy the marine life with a glass bottomed boat or visit the famous Shipwreck Bay from the sea, alternatively, enjoy this spectacular view the top of a cliff. Nearby is the town of Volimes, the centre for the island weaving industry where charming local pottery and other quality souvenirs can be bought at very reasonable prices. Zakynthos town is only 25km away and is a fascinating and bustling town with excellent shopping, restaurants, banks, hospital, museum, outside cinema and good night-life.The port for mainland Greece which is 1 hour away by large ferry is situated adjacent to the town.

The water here is reputed to be good for skin, removing cellulite, relieving arthritis and other ailments due to the high sulphur content.The beach is small and uncrowded, perfect for a tranquil time to bathe in the healing waters. There are many good tavernas in the vicinity with the nearest being within walking distance from the villa

The Island: Luxuriantly fertile mountains, ancient villages, Venetian monasteries, together with the bustling resorts of the south make this an island to please everyone. You can find long sandy beaches, small secluded coves, you can visit old monasteries, walk among the countryside where the smell of wild herbs is intoxicating, taking in breathtaking views of cliffs, sea and amazing sunsets. You can visit the famous Ship Wreck Bay, voted one of the top ten beaches in the world by Conde Naste Traveller, the Blue Caves or the home of the Caretta Turtle. If you are after excellent shopping, art and culture the main town of Zakynthos is certainly worth visiting. The square in the evening tends to be very lively and there are lots of restaurants to choose from where you can sit under the stars and enjoy local traditional Greek dishes. The island itself is easy to drive around and the scenery is breathtaking. If you are after more lively entertainment you will find this further south of the island.

Additional information about rental rates November - March Contact Owners Prices are for the property per week in UK pounds The villa may be rented outside the April to October period with direct flights from the UK over the Christmas period A non refundable 25% deposit is required to secure a booking and the balance is payable 10 weeks before departure. A damage deposit of £200 is also required at the time of the final payment which will be held to cover any breakages or damage and will be returned at the end of the rental subject to any deductions required.
