2 Bedroom Villa in Paxos

The Villa Adriana and Studio, a romantic Venetian 19th century pink-stuccoed house with thick stone walls. One of the landmarks of Lakka. Newly restored to very high standards, our home is set in one acre of ancient majestic olive trees offering complete seclusion, tranquillity and privacy. Yet it is only 5 minutes walk down the hill to Lakka village's harbour with its excellent tavernas and beaches with crystal clear water. And 2 minutes to a hotel swimming pool. Adriana’s interiors are decorated in a comfortable contemporary style, while preserving original features such as the olive wood lintels and stone window alcoves. Large shuttered windows and high ceilings give a luxurious atmosphere of spaciousness and light. Beyond the large terraces, paved walks through the gardens look out onto spectacular views of Lakka Bay with its famed turquoise waters and the open sea. The lower half is a light studio appartment. A paradise for families, walkers, nature lovers and romantic couples.  
 
Villa Adriana (Sleeps 4)  
Bedroom 1 with large hand-made English double bed and large fitted wardrobe, dressing table.  
Bedroom 2 with twin beds, chest of drawers.  
Both bedrooms have ceiling fans, good bedside reading lights, full-length mirrors and beautiful ochre stone floors. Views onto olive trees.  
Bathroom: Luxury basin, bathroom cabinet, WC and large shower area looking onto oleanders and olive trees.  
Kitchen: Luxury open-plan kitchen with long cream marble work tops. Electric stove, large oven, dishwasher, two fridges, electric kettle, lots of storage and fully equipped.  
Living room: Beautifully furnished large open-plan living room with French windows and door opening, on both sides, onto two large terraces and olive groves. Large sofa. Armchairs. A modern oak dining table seats 8. Desk and well-stocked bookcase, ceiling fan from the very high ceiling. The floor is of polished traditional Corfiot stone. Other: Two very large terraces, one with built-in barbeque, other with shaded veranda area.  
 
Adriana Studio (Studio Apartment)  
A very light twin-bedded studio with beautiful ochre stone floor and 3 shuttered windows and French doors looking out onto it’s large private terrace framed by majestic olive trees, and with its private part of 1 acre garden. The hand-made English flush twin beds have very comfortable English mattresses. The beds can be easily converted into a double bed without the usual gap in the middle. Large fitted wardrobe, standard fan, full-length mirror and good bedside reading lamps. The modern kitchenette has a cream marble worktop, fridge, 2-element stove, micro wave and electric kettle. It has a small marble dining table with 2 chairs. The sitting area has 2 comfortable wicker armchairs. Bathroom: Luxury basin, bathroom cabinet, wc and large modern shower area. Terrace with built-in barbeque. Outdoor furniture includes a table and 2 chairs, sun umbrella and 2 sun loungers. Comprising the lower level of the main house, the studio is completely separate and self-contained.  
 
Good quality white cotton bed linen and hand and bath towels are included (not beach towels). Maid service twice weekly. Welcome pack. The villa and studio can be rented separately or together. Children are very welcome, but the garden is not really suitable for very adventurous toddlers as there are big differences in levels in the olive grove.

• Travel Info: Fly directly to Corfu: Charter flights, April till November from the UK and from elsewhere in Europe. From London Gatwick you can fly (amongst others) with EasyJet, Thomson and Thomas Cook. You can also fly via Brindisi. In winter: fly via Athens: change for the local Athens-Corfu flight. From Corfu to Paxos: a one-hour hydrofoil trip from Corfu New Harbour (10 minutes by taxi from Corfu Airport). Also by watertaxi and ferries.
