Villa 'Pergola' is set on the hillside, half road from Lygia port & the picturesque village of Katouna.It offers dramatic sea views, with balconies & wide verandas.The property is immersed in the green & flowered gardens of bougainvilleas & jasmines, offering well sized pools.Furnished to a very high standard.The main entrance from the iron gate through gardens of olive trees & flowers, is shared with another villa.Then each detached villa has its own private spaces.ACCOMMODATION: Open-plan kitchen with dishwasher & washing machine.Dining area & sitting room with satellite TV & DVD player.Leads to terrace.Staircase leads up to one twin-bedded room; bathroom with shower;one double bedroom & ensuite (marble) with jacuzzi bath.Air conditioning in the sitting-dining rooms & hall area of the bedrooms.Leading to balcony with direct sea views.Comfortable old & modern furnishings.Wide terraces with terracotta floor tiling & furnished in teak.OUTSIDE: Swimming pool (8m x 4m), constant depth 1,4m & barbecue area.Patio areas with outdoor chairs & marble tables.Parking place immediately outside the villa after the edge of the asphalt road. ACCESSIBILITY: Not suitable for peopole with mobility problems. BEACHES/COASTS: There are many beaches in all west & east coasts of Lefkas (the island is renowned for the beaches). Closest beach in Lygia 1,5km. Further beaches in Gyra & Agios Ioannis near Lefkas town only 5-7km away. TRAVEL: 18km from Preveza-Lefkada airport.Taxis are available, while renting a car is most convenient.The important port of Igoumenitsa is 120km away (linked 3-4 times daily with ferries to the main Italian ports). DISTANCES: 2min drive or a short 10min walk (600m) from the tiny & completely unspoilt mountain village of Katoyna. Lygia, which is not commercialised, a small area with a harbour, several pleasant beaches & coves, a useful variety of food shops & particularly good seafood restaurants, is only 900m away from the villa.Lefkas town is just 6km away.
