Imagine is only 20 minutes from the airport. Located within the charming Greek village of Vlachata which is at the bottom of Mount Ainos. Vlachata is an ideal location to tour this unique unspoiled island, which has an exceptional micro-climate with natural vegetation of cypress, pine, & olive trees. It has one of the largest bays of the island, & the sand and pebble beach is over a kilometre. Access to Lourdas beach is 2km walk down the steep winding road through the village or 2 minutes by car, the walk up is only for the fittest. Imagine enjoys a spectacular panoramic view of the Ionian sea & the island of Zante facing south, the Castle of St George overlooks the villa facing east, floodlit in the evening. The village has a wide selection of car/bike hire (currency exchange available), restaurants, tavernas & 4 mini-markets all within walking distance from the villa. Argostoli, the capital is a bustling cosmopolitan town 10km away. Experience the magic of Kefalonia, fall under its spell.

Imagine has 2 double bedrooms on the first floor, 1 twin bedroom on the ground floor all with luxury en-suite shower/wet rooms, air conditioning & balcony. The ground floor opens out to an open plan kitchen/dining area. The fitted kitchen has an oven, hob, microwave, & dishwasher as well as a fridge-freezer, toaster & smoothie maker. A dining room that seats up to 10 leads into an air-conditioned living room with 2 leather sofas, t.v, dvd & well stocked wine rack. The extremely spacious lower ground floor holds a full size American pool table, t.v, Nintendo Wii (don't forget your favourite discs), dvd, & hi-fi with ipod docking station, washing machine, iron, ironing board, hair dryer, & 2 large double sofa-beds to sleep 4. Sliding doors and windows give the villa a bright spacious feel. A covered terrace can be accessed from the living room overlooking the patio area where the pool, loungers & parasols can be found. The lower patio holds the garden, BBQ, pergola with tables & chairs for alfresco dining. Imagine offers seclusion not isolation.

First of all, what a fantastic villa !
We were 4 adults & 4 children in this villa, the space we had was unbelievable, everything in the description of the villa is available and the view is fantastic. We rented 4 scooters we driven around the whole island, a car/scooter is a must if you want to see the island. Lourdas, nice place with many restaurants & markets, we have eaten there often, always good & fresh, only 5 min walk from the villa. the coast and the beaches that you see from the villa are great. Argostoli as with many waterfront towns, is a hive of activity all along it with tavernas restaurants, shops & an excellent fresh fruit and vegteble market open every day if you need to buy something. This is where you will find it, and if you're lucky you can see turtles in the port (we have seen them !). Lassi is a popular destination for all holidaymakers, with nice beaches. Myrtos beach, is magnificent, a true paradise ! the water is as clear as glass and you see the bottom perfectly. The setting is spectacular, but it's not a great place for playing in the sea. Sami , fantastic ride through the mountains and the beach of Antisamos is great, with a beautiful view of the mountains full of trees, and also very clear water. Skala, touristic, long beaches, many water sports, and a Roman villa. Lourdas, great beach & restaurants, we rent a boat for 80 euros a day, good snorkelling, fishing and we saw dolphins !! (Fantastic) !! It is certainly not the last time we have been in this Villa . GREAT, WE WILL CAME BACK !!
