Villa Hilltop is a lovely 2 bedroom villa with its own swimming pool. It is only a 5 minute drive from 2 shingle beaches both have a taverna and just 15 minutes walk from the village of Manganos where you will find a mini market and 2 local tavernas. A 10 minute drive will take you to the exquisite Venetian port of Fiscardo.

Both bedrooms are airy and spacious, 1 queen size double and1 twin have full en-suite facilities with walk in showers. A fully fitted open plan kitchen/dining room with all modern appliances including dishwasher and washing machine leads into the sitting room both areas have doors leading out onto a large ground floor terrace, ideal for Al fresco dining.

The pool is private (8m x 4 and 1.8-1.3m deep) and the patio has ample sun loungers, a large umbrella and fantastic sea views. In addition the villa faces the sunset making it a beautiful place to watch the sun go down.

Should you have a larger party then its possible to take the villa next door the Villa Bernice which has 3 bedrooms and again has its own private swimming pool.

Both villas were designed by Christo Koutsandreou who made his reputation restoring some of Fiscardo's traditional houses to their former glory. Christo retained a traditional Kefalonian look for both villas with wooden shutters on all the doors and windows and a traditional-style balcony upstairs.

Beach

The Villas are in the tiny village of Pecoulari, hidden away in a forest a short 10minute drive from the exquisite Venetian port of Fiscardo. In colonial times when the British ran Kefalonia, the governor of the island had a home in Pecoulari, enjoying the same spectacular views as the two modern villas.

The Villas are situated close to the village of Manganos which is a very small Greek village with just a mini market and a couple of local tavernas. A

Fiscardo village has lovely well preserved original Venetian style buildings decorated in pastel colours. The village is pedestrianised so you park in the main car park and walk down by the church and through the winding alleyways to the harbour side. Here you will find a lovely selection of restaurants and shops..

BEACHES
There are 2 shingle beaches a short drive from the villa however, the pretty cove at Myrtos, about 40minutes away, is definitely worth the drive.
